Location and Directions

Take I-45 South from Houston towards Galveston, exit FM 1764 in Texas City (1 hour from downtown Houston); take FM 1764 all the way through Texas City until it dead-ends at the levee. Turn right, then take an immediate left at the light. Go straight at the stop sign at the top of the levee, and drive out on the Dike, a thin strip of land extending five miles out into the bay.
